About David Nortman

My name is David Nortman. I live in Israel where I was born and grew up until age 13, after which I lived for 15 years in Toronto, and to where I returned recently. I am a philosophical type and have always been curious about things such as the ultimate structure of world and what makes us who we are. What in childhood took the form of an encyclopedic interest in facts later evolved into an interest in the fundamental aspects of reality which underlie everyday existence. This has led to my current fascination with classical homeopathy, morphic resonance, and other subjects often considered at the fringe of the scientifically acceptable.

I studied philosophy and some science (mainly chemistry) at the University of Toronto. Then I went on to study naturopathic medicine, where I learned a diverse assortment of approaches including nutrition, herbal medicine, Chinese medicine, and classical homeopathy. Throughout my childhood and studies I was also involved in classical music, at first as violinist and later as singer, eventually becoming a professional singer. The latter still represents my main activity as I begin to move toward clinical practice, focussing on classical homeopathy and related techniques in the treatment of psychological problems.

This blog is the manifestation of my philosophical inclinations, and relates to my interest in alternative medicine which in my mind is one of the gateways to discovering the true nature of who we are and, by extension, of the world around us.
